Sunset Beach 2012

We took the family and went to Sunset Beach, NC. It is the last beach before south carolina. The sun is stronger down there so we made sure to bring a few bottles of sunscreen (note: not all available sunscreen is pictured).

Sunset beach has lots of tide pools at low tide. That was a huge hit with the kids. So we ended up spending most of the time at the beach in three inches of water...

Marlon really worked hard to wear himself out at the beach.
Noli loved using the outside shower, she had plenty of sand to shower off...
Noli loved eating outside on the screened in porch. We had almost every meal out there.
Marlon rocking his cares away.
You need a little ice cream to cool you off after such adventures.
Marlon couldn't have any ice cream because they didn't have any non-dairy options. Still a waffle cone with chocolate on top made up for it.

Heather joined us for us part way through the week. Noli was like white on rice to her! Our friend Keith and Meg came out for one night as well, but we managed to not take any photos with them!
Marlon could NOT wait to get home and take off all his clothes and add his pink feather boa.
