Happy 1/2 birthday Mars!

Physical specs:
- Well, you haven't had your 6 month check up yet, so we're not sure. But at 4 months you were 16lb 9oz and about 75th percentile for weight.
- Hair is starting to come in more, but pretty light and not enough to comb yet.
- Blue eyes--still surprised
- Rolled front to back at 4 months and back to front at 5 months
- Almost sit up on your own
- Ticklish on your belly
- First and only consonant--ga

Sleeping:
- Started making it most of the way through the night by 3 months. Most of the time you will go from 7p to 6a now.
- Loved the miracle blanket, but we stopped that at about 5 months
- Quit the pacifier at night time last week.
- You have a new blue elephant sleeping buddy
- Prefer your side or stomach

Eating:
- Your skin didn't like Mom eating dairy, so she's off it
- 6-7 oz bottles at school
- Tried avocado, banana and sweet potato. You prefer to the latter 2

Entertainment:
- Jump up
- Stops everything for Dad's "blinking" hand
- Patty cake is a big hit
- Mr. Mushroom is probably your favorite toy
- Love the bath

Berries & Baking

We picked strawberries--so yummy.





Noli got to bake up a storm with Ganny. The recipe called for equal portions of flour on the counter top, clothes and the floor.

Feeding time

Noli didn't manage to get the whole corn on the cob into Marlons' mouth, but she gave it a shot.





Marlon did get to try a little avocado.

eggs etc

We celebrated some easter fun. Aunt Eileen & Uncle Sandy came down the weekend before. Aunt Eileen brought eggs and we had good times hiding and finding and hiding and finding the eggs. She also brought the materials for an easter bonnet which I'll have to find pictures of later...our camera battery died for the easter egg hunt.







Noli got a package from Nana with a whole easter outfit!

We celebrated Justin's Birthday. Noli & I baked a cake then Aunt Eileen & Noli decorated it. Noli was insistent that the decorations be blue.

Baby Bumble Bee

Marlon was attempting to roll over, but Noli came over to cheer him on with a tune. She had just made a play dough bumble bee and decided to sing a song to go with it. Enjoy
