McPardon Brewing

The McDowells, Pardue and Trogdons got together for the inaugural beer brew. We made a scottish ale, well maybe...it is gurgling in the basement. Fingers crossed will will come out with a decent home brew. However, if a chemical engineer, bartender and the rest of the brain trust can't manage to make a home brew, I think the bar is too high.

Happy Valentine's Day

Noli had to stay home from school today because she wasn't feeling so well, but we managed to celebrate anyway. Yesterday she made valentine's and crowns (well, why not?) using some stickers from Ganny.



Today she got a package from Gramby & Big Poppa and immediately put on her new outfit.

Marlon loves hanging out in his 'play gym' working on his baby skills.

Noli still loves to dress herself. One day she had an accident at school and got changed into her overalls. They were talking about occupations at school and she said when we got home "I am a chicken" By which I think she intended "I am a farmer" but I like the way she said it better.

Also despite it being Feb Noli still loves to wear her halloween clothes and even pulled out a christmas dress last week. Noli fashion is going to take off one day.

Bare Rug

Marlon loves his bear rug..it is soft and cozy. So of course we needed to take naked pictures of him on it! What else will we have to embarrass him by when he is a teenager (oh except by being ourselves).



Oh and much to Justin's dismay, our son loves being a Tar Heel.

Birthday

Noli sang "Happy Birthday To Mommy" during Marlon's 6:30 feeding. On the weekend Noli and Justin made me a cake while I slept in! Both are good birthday gifts! Noli tasted it for quality control. It was a yellow cake with a strawberry jam layer and chocolate frosting.
